In the sea of mattresses sold online, Saatva stands apart in fundamental ways. Saatva delivers its mattresses by truck, instead of in boxes. While, like other online sellers they have progressively expanded its line, Saatva remains focused on offering a variety of “luxury” designs, all priced at, with the exception of its Youth model, over $1500 (for the queen size). Saatva Plush Soft Reddit
Sure, there’s a collection of mattresses that are more luxurious than Saatva’s. They have greater coil counts and more refined materials.
But we find Saatva’s mattresses to be among the most elegant-looking and well-designed options available from an online company.
In the last two years, we’ve gathered to test the insidespring Saatva Classic, the memory-foam Loom & Leaf, and the all-latex Zenhaven, and they’ve consistently earned a spot among our top picks in our reviews of the top foam mattresses and the best innerspring mattresses.
We’ve also used Saatva’s Saatva Mid-Latex Hybrid and have studied the components and construction of the other mattresses in the Saatva lineup. The majority of mattresses sold online are foams or hybrids, which is why this Saatva Classic stands out. It’s one of the very few innerspring mattresses you can conveniently purchase on the internet.
Pocketed coils give this Saatva Classic a good amount of bounce close to the top. The extra soft top makes it more comfortable. Additionally, like the rest of Saatva’s mattresses they are delivered by movers. Saatva Classic is delivered by the movers rather than a box. Saatva also offers a generous 180-day trial period and easy returns.
The all-foam Loom & Leaf is constructed with more dense memory foam than other mattresses that cost less than $1,000, which means it’s less likely to shrink in time. For that reason, it’s better for people who weigh over 200 pounds.
The quilted and thick cover is more cushier, and more substantial than the sock-like covers that are found on many foam mattresses, and the cover helps the memory foam layer beneath feel less squishy.
Like you would expect from a memory-foam bed, the Loom and Leaf reduces motion better that the innerspring Saatva Classic. The all-foam Zenhaven is made up mainly of latex, specifically Talalay latex. It is made from the plant’s milky sap, and is intrinsically tough. Talalay is more flexible than Dunlop latex, which is typically used in less expensive latex mattresses we’ve tested.
The Zenhaven can be flippable (the Luxury Plush side feels medium-firm, whereas Gentle Firm feels a bit firmer). Gentle Firm side feels a bit firmer) This could be useful if you’re not certain which one you prefer, or if your needs change over time.
It’s not a typical cushiony mattress, however it offers a supple cushion, good edge support, as well as a mild springiness.
Because of its robustness it is recommended that the Zenhaven will be suitable for those who weigh more than 200 pounds. Saatva Plush Soft Reddit
Saatva’s portfolio of beds-many with a choice of firmness levels and catering to almost every comfort preference-includes:
- Saatva Classic (innerspring)
- Loom & Leaf (all foam)
- Zenhaven (all latex)
- Saatva Latex Hybrid (latex with coils)
- Solaire (a mattress with air chambers that can be adjusted)
- Saatva HD (a latex-coil hybrid made for people who weigh between 300 and 500 pounds)
- Saatva Youth (a foam-coil hybrid for kids aged 3 to 12)
We haven’t yet done an in-depth analysis of the “natural” claims made by Saatva or the other “eco-friendly” brands.
However, we know that the company makes use of thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (as as opposed to chemicals or fiberglass) with only organic cotton (instead of synthetic blends) in its cover.
Like other online mattress manufacturers, Saatva touts such extras as zones for “optimal spinal support” but we’re not than thrilled with these extras but we’re more impressed by Saatva’s responsive customer service as well as its long-lasting coils and foams. Saatva Plush Soft Reddit
Saatva Video Review
Who’s it for:The Saatva Classic is likely to suit people who prefer a cushy (but not overly billowy) top layer and the feel of a solid, durable. The Luxury Firm model (Saatva’s “Medium” product), which we tested, should suit people who are back-, sideand stomach sleepers. The soft Plush Soft version caters primarily to side-sleepers and the Firm version, for stomach- and back-sleepers.
What it feels like:We tested the Luxury Firm version of the Saatva Classic-the line’s most popular option-and found it to be cushy to the touch, and has good rebound and support. It starts out with the feel of a firm, square shape, but it softens slightly after a period of break-in time that lasts a couple of months.
What we likeabout it:The Saatva Classic is one of the few innerspring mattresses you can purchase online without the ease that is typically associated with buying an inflatable foam mattress. It is made up of 416 sturdy coils at the base, for support, with 884 wrapped individually, more-pliable coils that are stacked over top to ease pressure. There’s a small amount of memory foam included in the mix, though the cushioning is actually the 3-inch polyfoam and fiber Euro top (an additional layer of cushion that is sewn beneath the top). The result is a soft and comfortable appeal, being supple, supportive, and with a softness that isn’t a hefty billowy sensation.
We tried the 14 1/2-inch Saatva Classic in Luxury Firm during a 2021 test group for innersprings (it’s offered in 11 inches) It was the top choice, with the second highest number of top-rated scores (nine out of 39 testers) in the category of $1,000 to $2,000 (which included it alongside the Avocado, the Parachute, and the first-place WinkBed). Five of those nine testers liked it more than the Saatva Classic better than any of the other mattresses tested in the test that day and included those that cost twice as much as the Saatva Classic. Two of the nine testers selected the Saatva Classic as their second-favorite overall.
As for the home test, I looked at the prospect of sleeping in this bed every night. I’m not a fan overly billowy bed, so I was pleased its Euro top provided what seemed to me like the perfect amount of cuddling. The bed does have some bounce but not so much that my husband’s rolling over made me wake up. To me, the buoyed-up feel was worth the price in motion-isolation.
At around $1,600 when it’s not in sale (though it’s often) It’s a good value at around $1,600. Saatva Classic is the least expensive innerspring mattress we’ve tested that feels substantial and has a touch of luxury. We also love the fact that you can pick from three different levels of firmness: Plush soft, luxury firm or Firm, so you’ll be able to find the right one regardless of the sleeping position you choose to sleep in. Unlike the more-billowy WinkBed Another option from the innerspring mattress guide Saatva Classic is Saatva Classic is delivered unboxed by the movers (so that the “new mattresses smell” has already dissipated in the factory and in transit) This “white gloves” delivery is absolutely free. The company provides a generous 180-day trial period, and an extended warranty of 15 years.
What we don’t love: If you don’t like a bouncy mattress, or are insensitive to your partner’s movements, you probably won’t like the Saatva Classic. While those coils at the top have been individually wrapped the bottom coils aren’t, therefore, the bed offers some motion transfer than the other innerspring options like the WinkBed. If you’re not a fan of any bounce it’s better to go with Saatva’s Loom & Leaf.
The Saatva Classic also requires a period of time to break in. When we first test the mattress in 2018 it was medium-firm. a year and a quarter later we discovered that it had softened a bit however in a pleasing manner (at least to me). This is not the case with a “Soft” mattress, however; those who prefer it might be interested in it out. Plush Soft version, which we haven’t tried yet.
While the company claims to have an “active Lumbar Zone” technology for “additional back support” my husband (who weighs just under 200 pounds) was still in search of more support from the Luxury Firm. It could be that he seen it in the Firm version, but we haven’t tested the technology yet, so we don’t be sure. In general, we are not overly impressed with zones because people are of various sizes and shapes and they could spread out in a manner that doesn’t coincide with the patterns of zoning.
The foam density in the Saatva Classic are less than those of the Loom & Leaf that is the company’s foam mattress offering. While representatives from the company wouldn’t reveal details, we were informed that memory foam is at minimum three pounds for each cubic foot and the polyfoam density of 1 1/2 pounds for each cubic foot.
They’re not as impressive as the densities in the Loom & Leaf, but the specs are typical of an innerspring bed, and especially one that’s priced in this range. Contrary to foam mattresses the steel coils of this mattress provide an additional level of support, and the quilting can help reduce body impressions.
However, as this Reddit post indicates, some sleepers have had better results using the Saatva mattresses over many years than others; we think that this could be due to the size and shape of the person sleeping on it. Similar to all Europillows, or mattresses with a pillow top, the more you weigh, the more you risk seeing sagging and imprints over time.
Therefore, you should rotate your mattress diligently at least once every six months. You should also sleep over your bed.
Saatva Classic top owner-review feedback
We found only 39 high-quality owner reviews (those that didn’t seem to be fake or ambiguous and were written recently, between 2019 and 2020). Although the sample size is relatively small, we think it’s interesting that more than 30% of the positive reviews praised Saatva’s service to customers. This is a higher percentage than what we’ve seen with other online mattress businesses.
We also observed that six of the reviewers mentioned that sagging was the cause of their discomfort. One of them had a weight of more than 200 pounds, and the rest either had a lower weight or didn’t mention. The majority of them had been using the mattress for more than a year at the time they wrote their reviews. This indicates that turning the mattress is essential for heavier individuals who prefer innersprings might want to look at a mattress with intrinsically more-durable latex foam, such as the Charles P. Rogers Estate SE. Saatva Plush Soft Reddit
Saatva Loom & Leaf
Who it’s to be used for This all foam Loom & Leaf appeals to those who like a memory foam that wraps around instead of encasing them in a slow, sinky hug. The softer Relaxed Firm version is a good choice for those who sleep on their sides. It is made for back- or stomach-sleepers. If you weigh over 200 pounds could consider the Firm to be more comfortable than the Relaxed Firm.
The way it feels:The Relaxed Firm is an average-firm mattress that supports you without pulling you in; it’s the firm (which we’ve tried only in the showroom) is much firmer.
What we like: The 12-inch-thick Loom & Leaf comes with a durable, quilted, and sturdy cover that’s similar to what you’d find on a high-quality innerspring mattress (by contrast, the majority of memory foam mattresses are made of sock-like, thin covers). The cover is made of foam padding, which brings an additional dimension to the usually single-note squishiness that is common to memory-foam mattresses. I have slept on the Relaxed firm at home for more than a week, and I liked that it was cuddly and sturdy in the same way. My husband, who likes firm mattresses and weighs just less than 200 pounds, which is 70 pounds more than me-thought the mattress was too soft.
Whereas most online mattresses have a memory-foam density in the 3-pounds-per-cubic-foot range, the Loom & Leaf’s top layer has a 4-pounds-per-cubic-foot density with a gel-infused layer meant to assist with cooling (though cooling features like gel and perforations tend to have minimal impact). The mattress also has a 5-pounds-per-cubic-foot memory-foam layer underneath that top layer. With these specifications, we think this mattress is less likely to slump or create body indentions than cheaper foam mattresses, even for those who weigh more than 200 pounds (though perhaps not in the case of those that weigh greater than 250 pounds; check the owner review feedback below). As with every foam mattress also has a high-quality motion isolation.
In 2020, we compared our Loom & Leaf Relaxed Firm against the Serta iComfort (both are all-foam mattresses costing more than $1000), and twenty-one out of 29 users preferred the Loom & Leaf. “It was softer” was the most frequent motive; however, some claimed it was more “cushioned.” In the event that we examined it against it against the Casper Wave in 2019, the results were less unified (18 in favor of the Wave 16 for it; 16 for the Loom & Leaf). People who went with more of the Loom & Leaf preferred its “cushier” or “more fitting” feel or appreciated the texture of its quilting and those who opted for more of the Casper Wave described the Wave as having more support , and the Loom & Leaf as making the feel of being “stuck.”
We are also pleased our appreciation that Loom & Leaf, like all Saatva Company’s mattresses, comes delivered in a box, and by the movers. This means that you don’t need to blow it out like you do with the majority of mattresses that are boxed; off-gassing has likely already taken place at the manufacturing facility.
What we don’t like: We wish Saatva could provide a level of firmness between Relaxed Firm and Firm. two levels seem at least a few gradations apart. Although the Loom & Leaf has better edge support than some of the more popular online models (such like the Leesa and the Casper), it’s not as robust as the Hybrid (like those like the Leesa Hybrid or Tempur-Adapt).
Despite the Loom & Leaf’s cool gel as well as the pin-core (punctured) design touted in the top layer I slept a bit warm on this mattress, which was a surprise since I’m usually cold. But given that it was in the middle of the winter season, I don’t mind the cold at all. The tiny holes that are designed for cooling could affect the longevity that the foam has, but it’s likely to be only marginally. Since the Loom & Leaf has a top-layer memory-foam density of 4 tons per cubic foot it will be more durable than your standard foam mattress that costs less than $1,000.
Loom & Leaf top owner-review feedback
We have only found 16 high-quality, recent user reviews for the Loom & Leaf. Just as with similar to the Saatva Classic, the quality of customer service has stood out from the positive reviews. In the years 2019 and 2020 reviews, more people described this Loom & Leaf as “too firm” rather than “too soft.” But it’s not easy to make a conclusion about its feel. Many reviewers didn’t specify whether they’d ordered one of the Relaxed Firm or Firm.
Also, we noticed that more seasoned reviewers often describe that the Loom & Leaf as too soft or even saggy. For instance, we found reviews on Reddit concerning this Relaxed Firm version being sagging for people who weigh between 250 pounds. If this is your case, look into to go with the Firm version (though, again, it’s very firm) as well as alternatively, the The Tempur-Adapt (which also features dense foam, but it has a more distinct memory foam hug). If you weigh over 200 pounds, look into Zenhaven. Zenhaven that is constructed with intrinsically more-durable latex foam. Saatva Plush Soft Reddit
We recommend it? Yes.
Who’s it intended for Its latex foam Zenhaven will suit those that sleep at any angle, especially those who want a firm cushion, but without that “sunk-in” feeling. It’s also great for those of all weights and sizes, including those who weigh over 200 pounds.
How it feels: This mattress can be flipped and comes with handles that let you pick between two options The Luxury Plush Side is at the soft side of the medium-firm range, and is suitable for sleepers who are side-sleepers. Its Gentle Firm side offers a slightly more firmer feeling (the firm claims it’s around 20 percent firmer, which sounds right to us).
What we like: Zenhaven Zenhaven is made up of two layers of latex (one and the other is zoned to provide pressure points and lower-back support however this could or could not be useful according to your body size and where you sleep on the mattress). Latex is a foam made from the milky sap of the rubber tree, and is stronger than polyurethane or memory foam, and so we believe that this mattress is robust for those who weigh over 200 pounds.
We like it that Zenhaven is made specifically from Talalay latex which is more soft than Dunlop latex typically found in stiffer, less expensive latex mattresses, such as the Sleep On Latex Pure Green. The luxurious Plush and Gentle Firm sides of the Zenhaven are incredibly soft and springy, but not flexible. The whole bed is also more comfortable than beds that are mostly made from Dunlop latex.
I lay in the Zenhaven for a few months. Personally, I prefer a soft feeling (like those of Saatva Classic), but the Luxury Plush side of the Zenhaven has gotten more comfortable to me. After breaking it in for a couple of weeks, I started to appreciate its supple, slightly springy surface and cushioned cradle.
My son, who is 10, enjoys playing on it, and the Zenhaven’s motion-isolation feature does not stop me from experiencing it. However, it’s sufficient that I’m not aware of my husband’s movements at night. Edge support on the Zenhaven is slightly higher than the majority of foam mattresses, such as the Loom & Leaf.
Our husband who weighs barely 200 pounds and usually rests with his back on, likes Zenhaven to be more comfortable and appealing. Zenhaven superior to the other mattresses. It is more substantial and attractive than the memory foam Loom & Leaf The Relaxed firm and the Saatva Classic Luxury Firm.
The Zenhaven is shipped by movers, not shipped in a box, so there’s less chance to emit that new-mattress smell in your home. It’s possible to switch between the softer Luxury Plush side as well as gentle firm side Gentle Firm side as your preferences and preferences change, or if you don’t know which level you’ll like. Since the mattress is very heavy (the queen weighs at 125 pounds), Saatva will send movers to help you with a one-time “courtesy” flip.
We don’t like:Although the Zenhaven has a more-supple feel than many other all-latex mattresses sold online but it’s less luxurious as comparable innersprings or traditional foam mattresses since it’s not conventionally “fluffy.” It was the only two (of 29) employees who liked it better than other models in our 2020 study of mattress hybrids and foam said they liked its firmness, and they thought it would last for a long duration. (In the latex category, most staffers in our blind test preferred the PranaSleep Lotus Asana 6 in Plush, which has a latex-polyurethane-foam construction and costs over $1,000 more than the Zenhaven.)
Because the Zenhaven is extremely heavy and has two sides and two-sided, it must be placed on a solid, high-quality platform bed or a boxspring and frame in good condition. Saatva offers the boxspring foundation (which is available in two heights) as well as a frame made of steel.
Zenhaven top owner-review feedback
We could find just 18 reviews from owners of high-quality for the Zenhaven. This is a small sample to draw any conclusive, objective, and non-subjective information, beyond excellent customer service. However, we did discover an extremely descriptive post by a longer-term owner who was not sure of his weight (though he did say the height was 6 feet 4 inches in height).
He stated that after a year and a half, he still was impressed by its cushion and strength but, since he had not been turning the mattress around, the impression on his hip was evident and when he began rotating the mattress every 6 months, he reported that the impression was gone. We’ll update this page once we’ve collected more high-quality reviews. Saatva Plush Soft Reddit
Saatva Latex Hybrid
Who it’s intended forThe Saatva Latex Hybrid is most suited to those who value the durability of their mattress over lavishness. It’s ideal for back and stomach sleepers and those who toss and turn a lot. It should hold up well for the majority of people, even those who weigh more than 200 pounds.
The way it feelsThis 13-inch hybrid of latex and coil is in the middle of medium-firm. It’s distinctly buoyant and a touch bouncy, with some cushioning and cradling. It’s not a plush mattress but you sleep more on the mattress than inside it.
We like:The Saatva Latex Hybrid is constructed using top-quality materials and construction techniques. The quilted top, constructed from cotton as well as wool (a natural flame retardant), is hand-tufted to the layers underneath. Tufting (commonly seen on upholstery or traditional innerspring mattresses) is a type of heavy-duty stitching that binds the layers, which some argue is more durable than glue and eliminates the chemical smell that is often associated with adhesives. Its peaks as well as valleys created by tufting could help limit any obvious body impressions, more so than the smooth-topped, sock-covered mattresses you typically see in online hybrids.
While most hybrids put the polyurethane layer over coils, Saatva’s Saatva Latex Hybrid uses 3 inches of Talalay latex foam (which is ample, compared with the pricier Casper Wave, which uses less). Latex is more breathable and durable than polyurethane or memory foams. Talalay latex, which is also utilized in the Zenhaven model, is a much more breathable, supple and comfortable foam than the Dunlop variety often found in low-cost mattresses made of latex.
Wirecutter’s supervising editor Wendy Schley tested the Saatva Latex Hybrid for several months in her home. She found it to be strong and supportive. “It feels almost buoyant,” she said. “There’s some cushioning to it however it’s not extravagant in a soft way.” Wendy found that the mattress had a bouncy, springy feel reminiscent of a traditional innerspring-she never felt stuck in place-but the latex foam offered some motion isolation. Its edge support can be described as superb, due to thick (13 3/4 gauge) 8-inch coils along the perimeter.
Because of its breathable materials (the Talalay latex, cotton cover, and wool layer in the top) and the coils that make up it is believed that the Saatva Latex Hybrid should sleep cooler than all foam mattresses or hybrids made from polyfoams. Wendy is a person who likes to be hot at night, found that the Saatva Latex Hybrid to be considerably cooler than the other mattresses, though we haven’t yet tested it during the summer months.
We haven’t seen enough quality Saatva Latex Hybrid reviews to identify any trends, however, we’ll update accordingly when we do.
We don’t love: Though the coils are wrapped in a single piece but there’s still a hint of motion transfer due to, well, coils. This isn’t as significant as motion transfer on the Saatva Classic, but it’s much more prominent when compared to all-foam models like those from the Loom & Leaf or Zenhaven.
A queen-size Latex Hybrid contains 789 coils (fewer than the other hybrid mattresses, the The Tempur-Adapt or the Leesa Hybrid, with around 1,000). When a mattress is less dense than coils, it can mean that the mattress won’t be as comfortable to your body. However, the supple feel from the soft latex can make the up.
As Wendy has experienced, the Saatva Latex Hybrid isn’t an ahhh sort of mattress. It feels like it’s lifting you, instead of tucking you in. And it may not provide enough cushioning to provide sufficient pressure relief for side sleepers, or even to back-sleepers who require additional cushioning on specific joints.
Wendy, that sleeps side and back, reported that she sometimes awakened with soreness in her shoulders and lower back after sleeping on the Saatva Latex Hybrid. If you’re looking for something more comfortable, you may prefer one of the Saatva Classic or the Loom & Leaf (both come in multiple degrees of firmness, including those that feel softer than the Saatva Latex).
The Latex Hybrid’s tufting is finished with attractive yarn tassels. They look lovely, but appear to be flimsy as one of the tassels on the mattress Wendy was testing unraveled after just some time. Saatva Plush Soft Reddit
Saatva Solaire Adjustable
Saatva’s Solaire has an adjustable-air mattress, made of foam placed on top of air chambers which can be programmed to your preferred firmness level with an electronic remote. We haven’t tried the Solaire yet, but we’ll update this guide once we’ve had the chance to. In the meantime, we’ll be discussing what we do know.
Saatva has introduced Solaire in 2019 to rival Sleep Number’s high-end i8 bed. In addition to having air chambers and remotes The Solaire comes with the option of a pillow top, Talalay the layer of latex, as well as the gel-infused memory foam layer. It’s also priced at $650 less than the Sleep Number i8.
The remote has 50 settings as opposed to Sleep Number’s 20, but in reality, we’re not sure if anyone really needs more than that. At a glance, the comfort components look like they’d provide a more-curve-conforming cradle than Sleep Number’s polyurethane foam layers.
But, of course, we can’t know what we’re getting until we lay in the bed. The Solaire’s Talalay latex materials suggest longevity, but because Sleep Number doesn’t provide any details on its foam components, we can’t say that one bed has more durability than another.
No matter if you want either a twin, a king, or something else You can purchase Solaire Solaire in any size you want as an ordinary model. Or, if you choose either a queen or a king or split king, you can upgrade to the Upper-Flex queen or the king, or the split king, all of which have dual air chambers, so sleep partners can pick their own level of firmness.
The standard model works on every bed frame (including adjustable bases). However, the Upper-Flex queen, King and split king option are designed to specifically work on adjustable bases that permit the two sides to adjust separately.
Saatva Company offers adjustable frames. Saatva Company offers its own adjustable frames, which include Lineal Adjustable Base Standard and the Lineal Adjustable Base Standard and the Lineal Adjustable Base Upper-Flex. With the frame’s upper-flex, couples can utilize a remote to position their heads and shoulders individually (for example, one person can lay flat and sleep while the other sits up and reads the book).
The upper-flex frame designed specifically for the split king Solaire will also permit both to raise their bodies separately. We couldn’t locate enough high-quality owner reviews to include here, but we’ll update this guide when we’re able test the bed for ourselves and gather more reviews. Saatva Plush Soft Reddit
In May, Saatva introduced the Saatva HD, a hybrid mattress made for people who weigh between 300 and 500 pounds. We haven’t tested this mattress yet, but we’re hoping to try it out in the near future.
Like the Saatva Classic and the Loom & Leaf the Saatva HD has a pillowy, quilted top layer, but the dense coils and foam underneath appear to be able to hold greater weight. We’re particularly interested in the pillow top of the HD, as experts informed us that for those who are heavier the top of pillows could be particularly prone to indentations.
The HD’s other components, however, seem promising as far as durability is concerned: There is a latex layer, which is typically stronger than memory foam, as well as a memory-foam layer, which has a density of 5 pounds per cubic foot (more than the 4-pounds-per-cubic-foot minimum that experts typically recommend for people who weigh over 200 pounds). Additionally the HD’s 12 1/2 gauge coils are more robust than those in the other models of the company and those of its rivals, such as The Big Fig.
However, these aren’t the only criteria that affect the mattress’s longevity and, by itself, isn’t enough to make a good mattress. We’ll be looking into these issues further in an forthcoming guide to mattresses for those who weigh over 200 pounds.Saatva “strongly strongly suggests” that you place this mattress on a sturdy platform bed that has vertical center support.
In other words, Saatva representatives advised us that you must buy the HD together with the “high durabil” wooden-slat base. Also, we found a few user reviews that were positive. After we’ve had enough data to identify any trends and to test the mattress, we’ll give an update. Saatva Plush Soft Reddit
It’s called the Saatva Youth is the company’s innovative coil-and-foam mattress for children costs more than mattresses for adults. However, it is double-sided, featuring the coil layer sandwiched between two layers of foam which means that the mattress will be able to grow with the kid.
One side of the mattress is designed for children aged 3 to 7 years old, and it is made up of polyfoam that is zoned, with density ranging between 1.4 to 1.8 pounds per cubic foot.
The second side is intended for older kids (the company says that the age range is 8-12) the foam density is 1.5 tons per cubic feet. It’s also a bit less spongy due to its pairing with the firmer side of the coil unit. The 13 3/4-gauge coils range from 330 in a twin to 350 for a twin-XL. They also go up to 462 for a full.
The Saatva Youth is 10 inches thick and bunk-bed-friendly-as long as the bed’s guardrail is at least 5 inches higher than the mattress, for safety reasons.
